What is the minimum order quantity for carbide punches?
There is no minimum order — we manufacture from as few as 2 pieces. This makes us ideal for R&D, formulation development, trials, and replacement of individual worn punches. Pricing is provided per your drawing or standard.
What carbide grades are available and which is right for me?
We stock K10–K50 grades (G20–G45 EU equivalents). For highly abrasive APIs like calcium carbonate, vitamin C or mineral supplements, K10–K20 (hardest) is recommended. For impact-prone applications with softer powders, K30–K50 gives better toughness. Send us your formulation details and we will recommend the right grade.
Do you supply TSM and EU standard punches?
Yes. We manufacture to TSM-B, TSM-D, EU-B and EU-D standards as well as fully custom dimensions from your drawings. All punches are dimensionally verified against standard specifications before shipment.
What documentation is included with each order?
Every shipment includes a dimensional inspection report (measuring barrel diameter, tip diameter, length, cup depth, surface finish and runout) and a material certificate confirming the carbide grade. CMM inspection with full GD&T is available on request.
What is the typical lead time for custom carbide punches?
